Sensei Pascal Vervloet – one of the longest‑standing members of our dojo and a dedicated martial artist since 1984.
Pascal began his journey in 1984 and earned his 1st Dan in 1987 under Hanshi Hubert Laenen. From that moment on, he became a key part of our lineage, teaching in the Shaolin Dojo from the day he received his black belt.
Throughout his career, Pascal trained in full commitment, competing in both non‑contact and semi‑contact tournaments, and at one point becoming Belgian Champion. Beyond competition, his role as uke for Hanshi Hubert during seminars across Austria, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Germany deepened his technical insight and sharpened his understanding of body mechanics, timing and resilience.
Today, after decades of training and service, Pascal stands as Sei Shihan – 4th Dan, recognised by the International Kenshikai Organisation. His teaching is shaped by loyalty, discipline and a lifetime of experience within the Okinawan tradition.
